A Graded Theatre & Performance Programme for Young Minds
The performer in you is a meticulously crafted, dynamic theatre program that fosters children’s holistic development through enjoyable and creative educational experiences. This graded program emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, communication, teamwork, physical and spatial awareness, social skills, leadership, and presentation skills. These abilities are cultivated through various theatre techniques and conventions such as storytelling, mime, puppetry, improvisation, monologue performances, acting for the camera, duet scene creation, musical theatre exercises, and more.
The program regularly provides performance opportunities to help participants evaluate their learning and skill progression. As a graded program, it prepares participants according to the assessment criteria for LAMDA and Trinity College London Speech and Drama exams. Participants have the option, to undertake these assessments and receive recognition for their achievements.
Upon successfully completing the current grade, participants will advance to the next level by presenting a short play either in class or on a professional stage, or by showcasing their short film to family and friends.
